Trimayne the Priest
There was supposed to be another NPC in Tristram - Father Trimayne (Trimayne the Priest). He was supposed to be near the church, but he would only appear from time to time as he traveled often. It was supposed to be related to the "Fleshdoom, Wielder of Shadowfang" quest, a quest that was never included in the final version of the game. After talking to him, he was to reveal to you that some time ago he was called to a deranged man who escaped from the maze. Trimayne, suspecting that the man had been possessed by some demon, began the exorcism, it turned out that the demon that possessed this man was the Fleshdoom, and the man had memories of the ancient demon sword Shadowfang in his memory. Later, Trimayne commissioned the task of destroying a demon named Fleshdoom and retrieving his cursed sword Shadowfang, which imprisons more than one tortured soul. However, when the demonic blade was handed over to the Trimayne's, he was to be engulfed by the hellfire and killed.
Presumably, initially it was Tremain that was to commission the task "Archbishop Lazarus" and not Decard Cain, and the reward in this task was to be a powerful unique - a mace called: Lightforge. While the Lazarus quest has not been removed, it is virtually impossible to obtain a Lightforge Unique legally. The Shadowfang Sword (Shadow Fang) can be found in the second installment of Diablo. Below his picture.

Izual, the Fallen Angel
Among the tasks that were not included in the final Diablo version is also the "Izual, the Fallen Angel" quest. This task was to be entrusted to us by Gillian, who told us how Farnham used to be completely drunk and kept babbling about Izual and Azurewrath. This task was to find and destroy Izual to free his troubled soul. The prize in this quest was to be a unique "Azurewrath" (Blue Wrath). Both the Izual quest and his sword can be found in Diablo 2. Below is a screenshot of the "Azurewrath" sword.
